BF is a terrible time to launch, do it the week after or before.

Good metaphor by kitler, having a birthday on Christmas. I think they could easily sell out on the launch week, and on Black Friday by spreading it out. Albeit that will make the two periods very heavy loaded and may impact the other weeks with lacksture sales, it seems like the best course of action as the shoppers will be in shops already for Black Friday and may be enticed to make the purchase.

great move the PS3 launched NOV 17 and and thanksgiveing i was playing PS3.

I still think they will try end of October, just to beat MS to market. All depends on if they can complete stuff in time i guess.

Personally don't think BF would be good. I'm from the UK but from the videos i've seen its way to crazy and stores will be jampacked with people trying to get bargains, getting in the way. Really dont see it.

Launching before Black Friday would be bad. People would expect some Black Friday deal happening for the system, put off buying it, and when it doesn't come they will be disappointed.

It's better to launch a week or two after. Putting it between BF and Xmas is perfect IMO. Stores will be insane enough on BF weekend. This goes for both PS4 and XB1.
