They will if they like Nintendo's 1st party titles.  Remember, Mario is the number 1 selling franchise in the history of video games.

i agree. the wii u doesnt need a price cut. they need to tweak the basic bundle so there is more incentive for consumers to buy the cheaper wii u. maybe pack in nintendo land with the basic and new super mario bros. u for the premium

Nintendo clearly released the Wii U 1 year before the console and games were ready. I think all the games you mentioned will be great.... BUT, Pikmin, Wonderful 101, Rayman and I think Bayonetta were supposed to be launch games.- Smash Bros, Mario Kart and X are 2014-

Bayonetta was announced with just a teaser in september 2012, it was never suposed to be available near launch. and the release time is irrelevant in this talk since you mentioned "nintendo is doing the bare minumum for wii u" as in the present. the after launch was bad planned but nintendo is making sure wii u gets a great stream of solid titles beggining in august and lasting over the holidays thanks to mario kart in 2014 Q1. that's hardly "the bare minimum" to me.

They have the advantage now but need to use it. A pricecut could be used to offset some of the playstation 4 hype and shift some Wii U's but i don't know.
