It really depends on what features it had but i don't see them making phones ever. Also, Sony tried to make a gaming phone (Xperia Play) and it tanked massively. I would rather Nintendo stuck to their handhelds, it's what they have always been good at

when was the iphone introduced?


...all i'm saying is the perception of what a smartphone can do is already set and nintendo would have to match all the features that already exist on the current platforms. unless nintendo built on top of android i just don't think it would be possible to nintendo to compete.

if they went the android route i think they should just release their version of "playstation mobile"... a dedicated nintendo games store that they can control but can reach the entire android userbase.
