Call the people you see on a daily basis and say you're sick. Turn off your cellphone. Shut the lights and finish the damn game. You owe it to gamers all around the globe. And then come back and thank me.

Or actually, sleep on it. Think about it for a week atleast, then thank me. You might feel a bit odd at first XD

I was affraid back then of considering The Last of Us the game of the generation based on hype after finishing it... but after 5 months, and after played a game like GTA V. In all fairness, i wasn't wrong. For me is the best experience of last generation, the one that accomplished more. The true definition of "Masterpiece". Uncharted 2 and Mass Effect 3 (even its polemic last 10 minutes can't avoid that the experience though all the saga was amazing) are the next ones that i will remember the most.

Uncharted 2 accomplishes far less than TLOU does. Probably because Uncharted isn't even trying to do anything near to what TLOU is.

My only complain with TLOU is that some areas look empty, and even though thats good for creating atmosphere they could had more enemies to fight

Well it is a game about the apocalypse XD

I agree that UC had a more light and fun mood but TLOU hit me much much harder. They're like complete opposites as well. One is fast paced and bright/pulp. The other is like slow and dark/tense.

Pause it and finish TLOU then go back and you'll notice how lifeless that game feels.

(Its a good game though, solid 7/10)

I don't know man, Bioshock Infinite was a masterpiece in innovative story telling and character development. Not sure TLOU will dethrone it for GOTY.

It has in a few places already :P I love Bioshock Infinite as well but TLOU was by far the better game, especially in character development. The arcs of Joel and Ellie WAS the games climax.

I finished it quite quickly actually, but missed the quote notification....

The thing is, since I finished it, I haven't touched it other than to watch the Grounded documentary. The ending was just so perfect, I didn't want to pick it up again.

I'll probably get back to it in a couple of months when the DLC comes out, maybe try a survivor playthrough (maybe even skip to survivor + with the glitch I have read about).

Not as good as Uncharted 2 in my eyes, but one of the best games I have ever played. Naughty Dog ftw!
