I am pretty sure all these decisions are coming from the top. Microsoft would make a bigger mistake if they start firing people that actually understand the console business. who would run it?

If they start firing people, they will suffer a huge brain drain, and look even worse to the public, while Sony just keeps building its momentum.

The need to stick to their guns and hope for the best. They will have to start over again with their fan base. Im talking about the dedicated "gamer".

If they can convince nongamers that they need the box, at $500, then maybe they just differentiate even more from a gaming console.

Its a huge gamble and you can only blame Microsoft upper management if it fails.

they can/will fire them if/when xbone actually fails at market. with just a few months until launch changing leadership now would just lead to more confusion and sends a terrible public message.

I'm going to get jab at for this, but Microsoft need to end the Xbox. There such a hug backlash on this console, even some navy soldiers are disgusted with the console. PS4 sells are rising, and it's highly likely to see Wii U spike in sells torward the Holiday seasons.

Microsoft, what happen, except the Wii, you were in the lead of of the console war compare to the PS3, now look at you.

Yep, PR was a disaster at times. People at MS should have been educated better about the X1 and it's polices. Unless they were trying to stop leaks or were still making up their mind like Sony, right up until E3?
