Why on earth would it be wishful thinking to believe that Sony will follow Microsoft's lead without being able to apply the upside of the equation?  Its questionable enough on the Xbox ONE as it is.

no new resrtictions, meaning the same thing that is happening with the PS3 will happen with the PS4. just online passes will happen if 3rd party publishers decide to.

I was going to wait 2-3 months before getting PS4 so I can finish up some PS3 games from my backlog, but just for crow I'm going pr-order and purchase a PS4, I'm going to purchase a 3rd party game and trade it in USED, record a video of it being traded in down at my local futureshop or any other retail store that accepts used games and then post it in this very thread. My friends are already pre-ordering PS4 anyways, and I don't have to lie to them about the competition in order to get to "jump in"

Does this mean that devs on the PS4 can implement a call home DRM on their games? If home can not be reached, game is dead? If home is reached, activation fee is required to play? They didn't deny other alternatives other than just saying that publishers still have the option to require online passes.

Makes me wonder what EA will do now, since they dropped online passes.

I'm gonna have to agree. This is getting beyond tiresome. The same people keep posting the same things over and over again when this issue has been clarified several times. This is nothing more than wishful thinking.

I've seen this same thread pop up multiple times over the last couple days and frankly it's ridiculous.

What don't people understand that it's the same on the ps4 with used games like it is on ps3 and 360. It's that simple. I'm sorry some people can't get over the fact that facts have already been shown showing that Sony is leaving the used games on ps4 the same as ps3. Not everyone is looking to put PS4 down so it's on equal terms with Xbox One, or was it called XBone on this side of the forums? People have the right to know, if they have questions. You are an advocate of rights aren't you? If not, your avatar would say otherwise.
