Lol. You have to laugh at the double standard. These forums have been blowing up for days because Microsoft is trying to 'change what is acceptable' and 'cram a new system down our throats.'
Notwithstanding that by definition Sony's online offering has changed (for example, we have to pay for it), it sounds like publishers will not be restricted in any meaningful way. So, if people are correct about Microsoft (I don't think they are/hope they are not), multiplatform developers will apply the same restrictions on the PS4.
There would be one positive and one negative difference, as outlined in my OP. Positive difference, you could never take your PS4 online again and therefore continue using your game. Negative difference, you dont have the sharing capabilities offered on the Xbox ONE as compensation.

What does this have to do with anything? You asked a question, you didn't ge the answer you were hoping for, you turned to childish bitching and moaning. Starcraft added to ignore list. Enough with the wishful thinking and desperation.

Bitching and moaning? What are you talking about?
Why on earth would it be wishful thinking to believe that Sony will follow Microsoft's lead without being able to apply the upside of the equation? Its questionable enough on the Xbox ONE as it is.
Ignore me if you wish, but dont just have a go at someone because they don't fall into line with your way of thinking.
