Dev : "I can't update this game, nobody bought it, I have no money left"

Wow, Xbox One will miss out on some great indie hits over the years. What small or starting developer seriously has 10 grand to spare? That money could be spent to good use in development

Great. This paid updates policy is especially stupid. Sony had and maybe has for bigger games same policy for 40k$ for a patch. So if someone released a buggy game and there were a good bunch of them, publishers had to pay big money to get things straight, there were a few cases that publishers admitted not to patch their games because of that. I get the idea it might be preventing from releasing broken games, but in the end it didn't have such an effect since almost every game had patches this gen.

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Don't release a broken game.

This worked great on XBLA. A serious bug was a very rare occurrence.

I actually agree with this.

It's actually more than 10k and it's been there for years. Don't see why it's an issue now. It's the least of MS problems right now.
