3DS Game For Summer!

This thread is a follow up to this one: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=162340&page=1

If you read my other thread above, you will know that I have all but lost interest in playing games. I don't know why but I haven't

purchased a game since November despite many of my previously anticipated games releasing. In a last attempt to get me

liking gaming again, I have decided to buy a 3DS game to play during the Summer.

Which Game Should I buy based off of the following options?

  • Super Mario 3D Land (Big fan of some Mario platformers but not others)
  • Fire Emblem Awakening (Never played a FE before but the demo was decent but repetitive)
  • Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon (really enjoyed the 1st game)
  • Animal Crossing New Leaf (Awsome series but couldn't get into Wild World)

Luigis mansion 2 is the best choice, it has the better grafix and online mp, unlike Mario3DLand

Get all 4!!!! but if you choose only one I guess AC?

If you think the Fire Emblem demo was repetitive then I don't think you would like the whole game. Just keep in mind that if you ever want to start with the Fire Emblem series, Awakening is probably the best choice, because you can turn off perma deaths.

Can't really tell you anything about the other games because I haven't played them. Except for 3D Land which I didn't liked.

How does Luigi's Mansion control? Kid Icarus is pretty annoying control-wise.

Is AC your favorite? It seems to be the game with the most value as long as I don't get board with it.

Did you like Galaxy and Galaxy 2? I liked them but they were the only Mario games I've ended up selling. I didn't care for them as much.

if so, maybe I'd like 3D Land?

3D Land is more in lines of the NSMB series, very linear. The Galaxy games also relatively linear, but not as much as the NSMB games or 3D Land.

3D Land is also very similar to SMB3, so if you really like that game you probably going like this.

Great, that is what I didn't like much about the Galaxy games.

Linear fits well for 2D but for 3D, not so much.

I wasn't a fan of Galaxy and I loved Super Mario 3D Land. I think the game bringed back a lot of memories of Super Mario 64.
