I remember reading a comparison between Australia and Canada in (about) 2004/2005 and it discussed how both countries had very different sales ratios between the three consoles. Canada (in general) had less of a focus on "Mature" games and the Gamecube sold disproportionately well (as compared to sales in the United States) while Australia had a greater preference for "Mature" games and the Gamecube sold disproportionately poorly (as compared to sales in the United States).
