Wii u ownerS can be jealous too. Even if they wont buy the ps4 i still bought it at a lower cost than the wii u at retailer (even for the lower end) when i bought the premium to sell i think i paid 360$



Gladly pay ~$20 extra for the gamepad stand. Oops I meant 10% off digital promotion for a year and inclusion of a decent party mini game. Actually, they should have included a pro controller in the deluxe package. Hopefully there is an ambassador program with free games since they should lower the price by $50 due to Sony pricing near Wii U price level.

Do you have to pay for it in advance?

I'm afraid of pre-ordering. I'm afraid I will be tied up to something and in the meanwhile they announce a different SKU that I would rather want to have.

I bought my Xbox360 in 2009, paid 1400 BR$ (700 dollars).

Bought my PS3 in the following year (at the Heavy Rain launch, so, it was like march), paid 1250 BR$, 650 dollars at the time.

The brazilian Sony made a press conference yesterday at São Paulo (biggest brazilian city - 13 million people) and stated that they would launch the PS4 at the same time as the rest of the world, at the same price, plus taxes.

However, Brazil has the biggest taxes in the world, which means that the 399 will turn into 699.

PS: I bought my PS3 with Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2, Killzone 2 and Metal Gear Solid IV. It was the most amazing gaming experience of my life. Then I got Siren, Demon´s Souls and Valkyria Chronicles in the following month, good times =D



My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Great. And I pre-ordered it in Switzerland for 500 CHF which is 540 $. We europeans always get fucked with the prices, especially the "rich" swiss.

guess no one around here is a math major, because your numbers just don't add up. 10% off a $400 purchase means the price ends up costing $360 (i'm rounding to the nearest dollar to make things easier). So how exactly did you get yours for $340? I call bs on your whole dumb@$$ thread here.
