I disagree it will have a long term effect in Japan and it is not optimistic. 

FF, DQ and KH are the biggest RPG in Japan. SE is still the biggest player in JRPG if you have SE supporting PS4 then obviously the other devs. will follow. 

I think you already knew it by now that a Japnese game that is multi-plat with Xbox are considered a semi-exclusive for the Playstation system. That's why it doesn't matter if  FF XV and KH III are multi-plat with Xbone in Japan. If WiiU will have those game then you might have a point.

FFXV will most likely be release next year since FF XIII lightning return will be release this year in Japan and XV is already in development for years, it's not like they are starting from scratch and with PS4's ease of development.

It's officially confirmed for Brazil at the same day than US.... nothing is worrying me .

Anyway... Brazil always use the same US models even for games... same serial, game, etc.

Sony hasn't talked about pricing here in Brazil. But considering that MS will sell Xbone here for USS 1000.

PS4 price should be close to it.

Confimed again today the launch here (Brazil) for the same date than US... the pre-orders from online websites started with the suggestive price of R$1850 (~$870).

A funny fact Sony said they want to shell the PS4 at $399 here (less than R$1000)... in fact I think that laughable because the PS3 costs more than that here (R$1099) but if they achieve a price close to that I will eat crow with a smile in the face

The first-party games are confirmed in Brasilian Portuguese.

They announced a new line of games called "Favoritos" (like Greatest Hits in US) to be released in July per R$79 (~$37)... Journey Collecton Edition is one of these games.

Eveything was showed at the Sony E3 conference for Latin America today.

The year head start didn't do much, I'm sure sony can spot them a few more months.

That's just better for the Japanese developers because they'll pretty much stick to PS3 stuff or PS3/WiiU multiplat stuff. (Or just 3DS but I mean console stuff)

Get the most out of your current engines guys. 8th gen gonna be a toughie.
