Instant classics! Rise of the Triads was very cool, and there was another good FPS where you wielded katanas and shurikens that came out the same year, but I can't remember it's name... Hexen and Quake are also good old classics!

Oh, and I remembered an old favourite of mine; Under a Killing Moon! I loved that game, along with Conspiracy, which is roughly the same genre.
