Don't focus on fanbases and focus on individuals.  You cant change others but you can change yourself.  Power and choice.  You control your own choices.

that would be nice but If you think MS fans are getting heat then you should try being a Sony fan for a day. Motherfuckers make me feel unwelcome everyday. People just complain about Sony fans ALL DAY EVERY DAY! Like litterally.. I sit back and watch it everyday. There could be a MS, Ninty and Sony fan all going at it but motherfuckers will sit here and act like the Sony fan is the only one arguing. They act like were some type of plague and that this site would be so much better without us.

Cursing is allowed on VGC.  Which I'm glad, as I think cursing is a dumb reason to ban someone.  The only thing is you can't curse at people.  Like I could type "what the fuck?"  But I couldn't go around calling people "fucking cunts", etc.

I just wish it were possible to say good things about something without someone having to try to demean you or your preferences. That doesn't mean no one should criticize something, but I keep seeing things like "this is a failure" or "_____ DOOMED" and "_____ sucks." Then there's the subtle stuff that's just as annoying.

People need to be more mature about these things.

edit: Jokes are fine, but it's pretty obvious that a lot of people aren't.

Yeah I get what you're saying, PS3 fans also had it real bad to begin with not to mention the Wii and it was massively successful. I guess its just that time for it to swing the Xbox’s way. 

Hence one could also take away from this the need for us all to grow thicker skin.  Since this is usually the reality we face when we become loyal fans to only 1 company, not there’s anything wrong with that.

I'm particularly tired of users who complain and don't contribute to posts that improve the site.

If I were a Microsoft fan, I would embrace the opposition with excitement. There are plenty of angles a Microsoft can take to destroy an obnoxious Xbox hater. A lot of the points against the Xbox One can actually be fairly easily countered imo. Unfortunately, from what I have observed, there's no one up to the challenge of silencing the fools. I'm not sure if its due to lack of energy or lack of argumentative skills. Whatever the case, the opportunity is there for Xbox fans to strike back and even the odds (within the rules, of course).

First off, I believe this goes beyond the X1.  Secondly I believe X1 does have plenty of users who has defended it Jay.  

@Everybody - Now I want to clear something up, this thread has nothing to do with X1.  So let's stop with all the fanbase talking.   There is a reason for this thread but not what you are thinking.
