I just know it'll be the best Mario Kart. It looks unbelievable by all means! I guess SEGA did help out seeing how the game's graphics look almost identical to the Olympic games shown earlier. I'm really looking forward to how Rainbow Road will be like. It'll definitely be the best one yet. I just wonder how many stages and characters there will be. I also hope that there is a basic track creator. Nintendo needs to let the players create as well.

No. 'Awesomeness' of course.

64 still has the best tracks as far as I'm concerned. Wii's the best overall though. 7 and DS are good 3rds and 4ths respectively while SNES Kart, Double Dash! and especially Super Circuit are the obvious weakest entries in my opinion ('weak' is still good though; in the 3D Mario, Zelda and Mario Kart franchises). 8 seems to be really good, so I see it having a big chance at reaching at least my number 3 spot!

I don't see it beating Wii and DS in sales though. 34 million (more, because Wii is still selling afterall) is such a big number, that's going to be unbeatable. 7's doing good, but also likely won't reach DS's sales. It (both 7 and 8) could beat 64's sales though.
