I'm going to accept it and say that was Retros project. It was a really huge letdown considering how much they teased it.

I'm fine with it being Donkey Kong. But atleast make it 3D! we've only had 1 3D DK game :(

I think the game looks really impressive (graphics and gameplay) and we probably underestimate the development of a 2D game. That said, Im also a bit down. We 've had so much of these games these days and I would appreciate a 3D donkey kong or a Metroid game much more. Also, the new 3D Mario does not really seem to deliver in that aspect ;(

Considering Prime games sold less than DKCR, it is not a surprise the decision from Nintendo. It's all your fault, you that doesn't bought the Prime masterpiece.

Hell DKCR outsold all of the Prime games combined. It's something that's hard for me to accept but I would not be surprised if Nintendo decided to shelve the Metroid series indefinitely. That's just how things work in this industry.
