I didn't think it was bad either, but apparently a lot people expected something more like Super Mario Galaxy.

I don't blame them, though.

I am pleased just because the fact I know their games are always great... I expected more right, but since the directs are happening everyother month I am not to bothered atm...

It's Nintendo, of course people on the internet will focus on the negative and ignore the positive.

Though I admit that it sickens me a little to think that Nintendo would hold onto announcements for future Directs.

This happens each generation again, Nintendo fans underestimating/bitching bout Nintendo cause they didn't get what they were hoping for. This is Nintendo guys, just wait for these games to be released and i'm sure they will blow our balls off.

And yes you can, look at the other two platforms, they got a WIDE spread of genres coming out.

Then go to those two platforms. If you're fine without what Nintendo has shown, good for you.

I, on the other hand, don't see any RPGs quite like X, or racing games quite like Mario Kart 8, or any fighting games quite like Super Smash Bros. on other systems, so I'm still getting a Wii U come hell or high water.

I didn't say "incredibly hardcore mature". That would be an entirely different subject, and one I never bought into.

I'm most definitely saying that the incredible, the hardcore, and the mature were represented and nobody seems to care.
