How many tournaments we got going on? If this is the "official" VGC tourney then I will join this one. Just picked up my copy so will get some practice later tonight (if not too drunk) or tomorrow. Lucky I got a copy as it now seems to be sold out in my locality - where I work - by lunch.

Really surprised how low-keyed this release has been. No big posters promoting the game or anything. All the promotions are about WatchDogs.

T-T My Wii U says it'll take between 10 and 7 hours for it to be downloaded! I wanna hit Iwata so hard in the face T-T

(In reality, it should take 3 hours minimun. It downloaded 100 MB in less than 10 minutes now that I'm home)

Anybody know how to check your wins and losses ratio?

We (me and the kids) just completed all the cups and unlocked various characters (not all) and vehicle custom parts and seen the credits. The tracks all look beautiful, new and retro alike, and since I always used automatic on MK Wii, I've had to learn to do the drifting thing. MKTV is a nice add on, and fun, but the quality of the playbacks on Miiverse and YouTube don't do the graphics on the TV any justice. There are too many Koopalings and baby characters for my liking, but Lakitu is a nice addition. I tried various controllers (Pro, Gamepad) but still preferred the wiimote and wheel. Gave it a 9, and can't wait to get online tomorrow.

All looking good so far. Glad to hear everyone is enjoying it!

I tried online briefly, all worked fine. My tourney will ve Sunday 4PM BST (11AM EST) so I hope to see you all there, will post the tourney code soon.
