Oh and come somebody convince me to buy this game. Smash to me is usually about local multiplayer but the lack of single card multiplayer means thats not happening. Online has me worried as I live in Aus and dont have great internet, especially when wireless. And last but not least I havent seen a single player mode like Subspace or Classic, is there one??

I think you have an Adventure mode. It's basically like Classic but you can choose different routes to finish it!
If you like local multiplayer more... I recommend you wait for the Wii U version. They say it might release in november so it's not a long wait. Meanwhile you can fap to videos of the 3DS version.

Not sure I'll convince you to buy it but here's answers to your questions:
- Local multiplayer is in but each player needs his own copy of the game
- For the online multiplayer, I can't really say since I don't know how bad/good your Internet really is but here's a video from Maximilian (a youtube fighting game enthousiast) who got the Japanese version and reviewed the online experience:
- Classic mode is in and it looks pretty fun. There's also Home run contest, 100 man fight and a mini-game that seems inspired by Angry Birds and most probably other modes from Brawl I'm forgetting right now. No SubSpace Emissary equivalent though.

Well germany release is one day earlier because we have holiday this friday!
But they were selling it 2 days earlier for some reason!
