Pikachu may have priority, but he lacks a lot of range. All of his tilts are extremely short ranged and his jab is near useless due to its range. His aerial hitboxes have no disjointed hitbox aside from his down air when it strikes the ground. His down smash rocks and doesn't leave him very open. However since its used primarily for damage it gets weakened fast and won't usually kill until past 150%... Foward Smash mimics Marios where it has to sweet spot for full knockback. Up smash is good for comboing into Thunder, but thats easily air dodged for the most part =/ Skull Bash can be seen coming from a mile away...
Being a Meta Knight main... I really don't think I'd EVER complain about a priority issue... Stupid little guys range and priority is just ridiculous.
@Brawl, Like I said, Down Smash rocks, but since its used a lot for damage its killing ability is weakened. Forward smash has to sweet spot or it won't kill til about 120%. Thunder is easy to airdodge since you can't miss the "PIKAAAA!!!" Up Smash doesn't kill downright til about 120% but I'll have to check that to make sure. I guess what I should have said is compared to a lot of the more common characters he has a harder time killing. He can kill, and surely doesn't have a hard of time of doing it then say, Sonic. But he'll have to work harder then someone like Snake, Meta Knight, or the Space Animals to kill.
Pikachu Kill percentages:
Forward Smash: 110%
Up Smash: 125%
Down Smash: 125% (Dependent on hits)
Neutral Air: 135%
Down Air: 165%
Skull Bash: 300%-70%
Thunder: 75% - 190% (Very dependent on position)
Thats all on a Mario in training mode from the center of Final Destination.
