Yes, you could say that. I bought the other one's just because I wanted to buy a game for my favorite system, not because I actually wanted to play it. I have been killing this game! I put like 25 hours into it!


That does explain a lot. I was wondering how I beat a fighter fan such as yourself so easily the other day. I'm sure you'll start tearing it up pretty quick, though, after a few more days of practice. :P


lol... I don't know how much I'll be tearing it up with the way I fight.

I noticed you guys have a completely different fighting style than what I do. You know how to take advantage of different items and the stage itself. See, I'm just trying to land combos and look flashy when I fight (while winning, of course). I need to learn how to use my super move better. Before I played Naznatipz, I would just press b and hope it hits. I quickly learned that will not work against a skilled player. :P

I'll get the hang of this game, though. I'm sure of it!

Does anybody think SSBB could be goty. I really do. SO far it is my goty , but there is still alot of games to come.

As of now, when looking at the games already released, there's no doubt in my mind that this is game of the year. However, I already know that there will be games that I personaly like better than this game. Ninja Gaiden Sigma, for example, has my name all over it. I think a lot of websites will opt for GTAIV or Metal Gear Solid 4 instead.

Yeah, the variety yet simplicity of SSB's movesets are what separates it from other fighters.  The jumping really adds a whole nother dimension to the gameplay that other, more traditional fighters don't have.  It will take a bit of getting used to, but you'll get the hang of it in no time. :)

The onyl games that could contend with SSBB for GotY are MGS4, LBP, and Spore, imo.  MGS has a history of getting jipped when it comes to GotY awards, so it's really a fight between SSBB, LBP, and Spore.

I could see spore winning just for it's innovation.
