I have the hardest time against Toon Link, I'm pretty used to being able to attack someone in the air with a quick N-air but TL's air attacks come out so fast I'm the one getting hit. Plus getting hit by the boomrang angers me which leads to stupid mistakes.

Yea your peach can be very offensive but when it comes to hells he zones you or at least that's the style of play he uses. There are a few players on my list like that.

The do the DI trick to keep you guessing and they use lagless moves, so far the best thing I've seen is to keep them grounded or in the air on your terms, for most TL's offline I'd tend to go under them and shoot the arrow upwards that annoys the heck out of them expecting to get the sword into the ground.

I'd have to guess that for peach your best bet is to jump in with the toad out from below that way TL falls into the whole counter, and keep him off the stage with turnips. (Of course you have to get him off the stage.)

sry i dont much about terms what do you mean about zoning some1 and whats "DI" lol oh and the arrows trick under me doesnt rly work cuz i dodge them "most" of the time

DI, is well explained in this thread.

DI is also just referred to a change in direction by input of your controlled stick in cases like, DIing back using GnW's turtle, which is moving backwards during the attack.

Naw I'm talking about offline, maybe I could make a save and show you some of my offline games, Aiming the arrow is so much easier, I can do last second twists and turns, around a 80% hit rate with arrows shot at the target, looping seems to work more often for me online than offline.... as far as accuracy, but otherwise I've done some nasty off stage combos started by looping.

I love when someone is above the stage and I reverse loop and the arrow hits them in the back just before they reach me, leads into a world of hurt.

As for zoning, I mean you play in a method that requires you be at a certain space to do a certain move, to keep people at arms length, why you do it is a personal thing but if I had to guess I'd say it's just you doing your thing passively until you have a line of sight to attack.

The only way that I could kill your game is to knock you off the stage as you wont have your chance to do your DI, but the dilema is that the only line of attack I have are in my off stage short hop aimed arrow into fair, but online I can't do it without killing myself on a uair. >.>

But your very good at zoning so it's a challenge to get that much out of you.

Something you guys seem to not do is attk the opposite way that your going when hit off the screen. some one who has a down like zss can live forever if ppl just try up kill its the only resion why i can live into 200%. All chaters can do this to one degree.

Online is too risky for that, but I do risky stuff on the edge online, offline I'd much rather grab the edge and use at most two jumps then go back to the edge. I dont however have any pursue tactics that are sure fire ways of getting the work done.

But what your describing is pretty much gimping, or taking advantage of a situation, in melee people would spend seconds out side trying to gimp each other. I guess online brawl is just too unpredictable for that.

Video gaming is serious business, if you have a problem with how I describe what we do naturally then you could help by not being so passive aggresive about it, or better yet just IMing me your discomfort, I would gladly sooth any illwantings with sweet words like, "your an amazing player" or "I enjoy playing against your TL." Otherwise I'd actually like to play you now seeing as how I'm online.


By the way I never intended for you to take offense to me describing your playing style, in fact I don't see me shooting down your play style any where, if you think I'm insulting you and that in turned warrented your retalliation as evasive as it appeared then fine by me.
