I also used to have a really low opinion of Lucas versus Ness. After playing with Lucas for a while, I've come to appreciate the fact that just about every move has solid knockback.

In fact, the more I play with Lucas the move convinced I am that Ness got the short end of the stick.

@ riot your getting way too dependet on getting ppl on plant forms.

Any character that needs his smashes to kill is going to have a hard time killing. It doesn't matter if he has good knock back, Ness is better than he is.

Lucas' only real advantage is his disjointed hit boxes.

That's what Marth does, and that's why people always ban battlefield against me and ban yoshi story in melee.

Ness' biggest advantage is his f-air approach. 

As a side note, considering my Lucas nearly 3-stocked your Marth, I don't see him having a problem killing. -_-

Ness advanage i think is the lack of delay in his air attks you can just spam them like lueagely but with a bit more rng. Right now i need to work on yoyo def and eages garding, lading pkf better, and ness recovrly ( i kill my self a lot with it)

If the person is not being stupid and trying to copy M2K's melee Marth but in Brawl on wifi, you'll have a hard time landing a smash with Lucas.

I only got one kill from a smash and that was only because you couldn't get back to the ground safely. 

First kill:  Up Smash
Second kill:  PK Fire (I think)
Third kill:  PK Thunder (into myself)

And that third kill was awesome.
