Didn't get a chance to set rules or pick my chracter. -_-

Technique number 1:  Always face toward the stage with Link.  If you don't, you will recover in the wrong direction and miss the stage every time.

Technique number 2:  Use proper spacing.  You did way too many smash moves that missed everyone.  Especially don't do a double smash unless you're going to hit.

Technique number 3:  Always have your boomerang out.   Always throw it.  Always have it flying around the stage.  At worst it'll just be a nuissance to enemies, at best it could score you damage or even a kill.  If there's a lull in the action, throw it!

Technique number 4:  Ease up on the aerial game.  Link's air game is mediocre, his ground game is much better.  Unless you're doing a down A or an up A, don't go out of your way to use Link's aerial moves.  Even then, use them sparringly.  The power of the down A is not to be underestimated but it is highly punishable.

Technique number 5:  Throw bombs... UP.  Link's bombs are powerful and fairly speedy going up.  They make great annoyances to falling enemies and since the explosion sends them upwards, you can even get kills off them if your opponent is foolish.  Plus if they don't hit going up, they can hit coming down.  Just don't get hit yourself.

Technique number 6:  Up + B out of your shield.  Don't grab, Up + B.  It will send them farther than any of Link's throws possibly could.  It will also deal more damage.

There are quite a few more but that should get you started... if you want to do well as Link.

I see thx for the info it should help me a good bit. I do air attks a lot now because of zss so i have it in my head that i must be doing air attks all the time. I will try these out!

Yeah, add in the fact GnW is a variable ROB counter and you've got a tough match-up on your hands XP
