Why would you "jump out" Xbox you need to pay for online for everything. With Plus you get absurd value. I don't see how Sony can't take a loss on the PS4 so hopefully they do make more money off Plus and online.

Can some of the guys posting here stop lumping all Sony fans. I am not really ok with it because it will be a hassle for me. I am single player but goes from multi-player from time to time because of the platinum trophies.

I actually see the value of Live because I know something that a lot of you guys might not know.
I'll just give you a hint it's really common on MMORPG, free online games, P2P games and etc. etc.
Gold users are paying for that, to be livelier.

Honestly the inherent value of PS+ is so great that this really shouldn't be that big of a deal. Don't get me wrong, the change in policy is still somewhat disappointing but it's really not that bitter of a pill to swallow. It's basically like your landlord telling you to pay the rent but giving you free food in exchange.

I think online multiplayer by itself should be free. Anything else to do with free access to games, Gaikai etc should be subscription. Im wasnt to buy a PS4 but seeing as how people are openly accepting this it looks like i wont get one anytime soon.

It is because of clueless people who chose to buy 360 when it introduced paywall. If people stopped buying 360s when there was a free alternative, none of this would happen. Blame yourself.

I had a problem with paid multiplayer and still have. Stop with these stupid posts. Show me examples of people who said "I'll never pay for online, never." and now saying "paid multiplayer is great!".

Nah. They said immersive MP to make the MP sound better. It includes all MP. That's why when Tretton went over the features non-Plus users still had access to, he only said single player. He didn't say MP. If it were how you're describing it, that's a huge difference that they would have made sure to explain right on stage.

And only PS plus members are praising this dick move of Sony... go figure.

Hardly any consoles have had BC. We've just expected it over the last few gens. Gamers, especially on the internet are self entitled.

I didn't read any comments in this thread. What is the general vibe here?

Because outside vgchartz it went from "PS is free to play online!" to "Its ok PS Plus is cheaper then Gold anyway".
