Forums - Gaming - Oddly, racing games are on a coming back...

All racing games but GT and Forza didn't seems to sell well these last years, but still, there's  a tsunami of racing games coming...   GT6, Forza5, Driveclub and the newly announced Need for speed: rivals and The Crew.  What's going on?  Grid 2 just bombed and still...

They have to try to keep some genres breathing rather they want to or not.

I'm surprised that Most Wanted sold relatively bad compared to the other NFS.. :(

anway I think there isn't much to improve with racing games so this time you have to be at the start of this gen so you can capture the audience and keep them supplied with DLC for the rest of the gen.. don't think people will really switch easily from racing game to racing game after investing so many hours in one..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Now if only a new (and gorgeous) Wave Race and F-Zero would join the ranks.

New generation, same old games.

Always a lot of racing early in a generation, then it quickly dies off.
