If you have an X360 it says it when you go into Games Gold. They say the games are yours FOREVER. Also Fable 3 is the 1st free game available right now. Starting next month it will be two games a month.

From what they said it seems like this will just be a temporary thing until the Xbone comes out. That sucks since they could really get people to buy the Xbone as well as a Live subscription by giving free 360 games digitally on the new console.

Anyway I'm not gonna complain. I have a gold sub lasting a few months until after the Xbone comes out. So I'll get all the games that they'll be giving out in the mean time and enjoy them until my sub runs out and I move on to the PS4 (most likely).

It wont be 24 games per year.

They said they are doing this for the months leading up to the Xbox ONE launch. I believe they are testing the waters.

If the model works, expect to see Gold members get free games on Xbox 360 and Xbox ONE going forward, but it wont be two high budget (even if old) games every month, no one would ever buy a game again ^_^
