lol you don't believe into trademarks.... why not go in china then....

if I create something I'm entitled to compensation.... whether you believe in it or not is quite irrelevant actually....
I'm all for an open world but that can only work with fair consumers.... I use countless of open source software on my rigs but I do pay the devs with donation.... heck I even give 20 bucks a year to Wikimedia for Wikipedia....

so we need trademarks until people get the point of open source which is not a free world but a donation based one.... or until people are coerced into paying those donation which way worst than trademark and copyright laws....

bottom line people need to adapt to an open world in a fair manner or things must stay like they are...

other than that I agree that piracy is not theft since you merely copy something to share without removing the original.... my best analogy is with books.... if you steal a book at the library you remove access to the content to other people this is theft.... if you copy the book and put it back on the shelf this is piracy and you merely duplicated it.... If anything you expended access not reduced it on that I agree but if that is allowed by law if you suppress trademarks and copyrights and intellectual property once again you have to have educated fair payers consumers behind otherwise the system collapse...
