My first was the Atari 2600. I believe we got Pitfall!, Pac-Man, and Spider-Man, along with the console, that Christmas. :)

SNES, good memories, great games. I still have it to this day.

BTW, looking at a someone's first console (+ their age sometimes) you can tell to what current console they have loyalty.

Family Bought NES (I was too young to remember why)
SNES was a reward for not spending money on a 6 month trip
N64 was a reward for my Brother graduating Junior High
Wii was a reward for graduating University.
I borrowed a ps2 for 6 years, and am co-owner of another (But physically have it)

The only "console" I bought for myself was DS Phat. Still have and love it.
