Forums - Microsoft - Update: The Witcher 3 confirmed for Xbox One with SmartGlass integration, Kinect voice commands

What I find funny is how much PS4 or playstation fans seem to care about this game.

The first game was PC only

The second game was PC exclusive for like a year, then on 360 only.

And who cares if its shown at a press conference. I woudl rather be shown 100 games that are multiplats and already seen than spend 1 minute talking about Ram or sales figures. So I'm all for Witcher 3 being shown at a conference.

Not only does it take away time from something probably worse, it also bring witcher into the eyes of millions more people. More people watch Microsoft's conference than would ever see anything CDProject Red could show themselves, so I'm happy that they are getting exposure in one of the conferences. So props to Microsoft for showing Witcher 3.

They said it would only be shown behind closed doors last month...

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

I love, love, love the trailer for "The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings" It's what I think spells might look like if they really happened. The music is great, the sounds, it is a bit gruesome, but it is so well made I get over it.

Although, in honestly, I have not played the game. I think about getting it, but remember ‘there are still new things to do in Skyrim! – Save your money and go play that.’ But, if III looked half as good as that trailer, I would so buy that game. Day one.

And if they integrate Kinect in a similar way as to Skyrim's Kinect, I can see only good things.

Here is that trailer I love so much:

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Not really a trailer, that is just the opening cinimatic.

When release on PC a year ealier it didnt' even have that.  The PC version got that cinimatic added when the enhanced version came out, which was the same day the 360 version released pretty sure.  The great thing about CD Red is how great they are to consumers.  Pretty sure all DLC has been free, the enhanced version was free to download to those already owning the game, and the game is completely DRM free.  Even places that had sold a DRM version you could download a patch to make the game DRM free.

I don't see the point if the game was announced to PS4 almost four months ago...

I don't see the point of this post.

How was the game after that?

Don't think you'll find many people have any complaints about the game and probably had it as their GOTY.

Heck only complaints i saw at all were that on launch the game was too hard fro some people, they thought the combat was hard, and died too often.  lol hardcore gamers indeed.

But here is a good trailer to be more informative than the one you posted.  Yours was basically a cinimatic dealing wtih something that prior had been basically just background talk that happened before the game.  You just got ot see the bad guy kill one of the kings that he kills.

90 minutes and no handheld is a lot of time

and doesn't sony always do that as well? it's really standard to have third parties on the stage. they are a big part of microsoft's an sony's success, it's only fair to integrate them when you talk about the next year of your console and don't act as if they wouldn't be there.

Yeah... Sony do that to announce the game but this game is already announced.

About he third-party I agree like MS showed CoD at Xbone's reveal with timed-exclusive DLC.

Are there anything exclusive for The Witcher 3?

no, sony also shows already announced games. one example of last year woud be asscreed 3.

and it doesn't have to have exclusive stuff, like i said, it's just fair to include companies in your conference which take part of your success and which will bring you millions in royalties,

It's coming to PC & PS4 yippy do da day :D

I hope the MS conference isn't just a 3rd party/multiplatform fest.

Nevermind then. Better luck next year.

Right, because there will be nothing from Rare, and other MS studios.

Go back and watch some of Sony's conferences back in the late 90's and the first half of the 00's... all that was there were 3rd party games, except back in those days most of them were exclusive to one console... Sony's console of course.  So it was OK.

You are sersiously arguing against your own point.

FF VII, MGS etc. were killer apps. It made no difference whether they were 3rd party or not. They were exclusive.

What's the point of that paragraph?
