Well Microsoft seems to only care about North America and Europe. For example, by doing the online check once a day, they are cutting out a large portion of their potential customers and this is proven by the current amount of Xbox Live members (46 million) in relation to the 77 million 360's sold. Already only 60% of their customers connect to the internet (that's a very optimistic estimate since most people have multiple accounts). By having an internet check, many potential customers in developing parts of the world will probably be turned away from getting an Xbox One.
Also, they clarified yesterday that you will be able trade your games at "participating retailers". Obviously these are going to be the major retailers in the larger markets - (North America, Europe). But what about people in Asian or South American countries? How will they sell used games? I doubt Microsoft will have participating retailers in every single market. This is a big reason why I am anrgy, because I most likely won't have a participating retailer where I live and so I won't be able to sell my games.
