Forums - Gaming - What if Microsoft actually wants out of the gaming industry?

Is this possible?

Sounds about right 58 54.21%

No way 37 34.58%

I want a Microsoft TV 12 11.21%

Total:107

Maybe they want to ruin the Xbox brand and redeem themselves by entering the electronics market and eventually making a MS TV thus killing Bravia and hitting Sony way harder than they ever could. That would be epic.

Why would they go to great lengths to make sure that they ruin their reputation/name before switching to a broader market? Why wouldn't they just, you know, enter those other markets right away, if that's what they wish to do? Why ruin a part of their name to make it happen?

Please, explain to me how that makes any sense in your head.

I'm not sure, this business runs in mysterious ways.

Remember when Microsoft entered the MP3 player market with the Zune to compete with Apple?

I would't say leave, more like change status. Remember before Nintendo and Sony, Microsoft longest rivals were Apple.

Don’t follow the hype, follow the games

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen.

It's pretty obvious they do as they are sabotaging their own brand.

HEHEHE, your drunk.

The thing is, Zune is actually a quality product. Just a little too big.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

If the logic you showed in the first comment is how you actually think, I'm sure more things than MS' business practices confuse you.

This is a joke thread, right?
