Forums - Nintendo - My wishlist for Nintendo's next handheld! Is it even possible!? <(o_O<)

I had brought this list up in another thread, and then I got to thinking, could Nintendo actualy do all this? I mean, of course they could and likely will eventually, but I'm talking about for next generation, as in right after the 3DS. So I'm reposting it here in a dedicated thread. Check it out below!

* Sweet spot-less glasses free 3D.

* Bottom screen also widescreen.

* Bottom screen also has 3D.

* HD graphix!

* High quality camera.

* Second circle pad on the right side.

* Circle pads have ridges or bumps

* Comes with a 32GB or larger SD card

* No more Cartridges!

So what do you all think? Is it possible that all this get's put into Nintendo's next handheld? Maybe if this generation lasted longer, like 10 years or so? I have no idea about this stuff so help a dolphin out here! Also, feel free to post what you'd want to see in the next handheld too!

I do not think that they will go with 3D next time. Just from all the backlash that they have gotten for it this time around.
They could definitely do what you ask for. I am thinking that it will be more like a gamepad to be honest. Hit the tablets where it hurts.

How could there have been backlash? The 3D effect is purely optional.

Everything's possible, just a matter of money ;)

I wouldn't drop cartridges. They are way better than discs and prevent all the digital flaws. They should go with a "cartridge or download" philosophy. But they already do, right?

I don't want 3D.

I'd say around 20% of people actually use the dang thing. Besides if it's portable, the 3D ruins the experience.

I only say they should drop cartridges just because 3DS is the only system left that still uses them. Basically there's no real logic behind it lol.

The 3DS uses parallax barrier technology, an intrinsic drawback of which is that the 3D effect only works from certain angles. I don't believe anyone has solved this drawback in a way that's inexpensive and practical.

either way, if you have been on this site for the last two years, you know what many have said about it. I have enjoyed it at times, but do not care if it is there or not. IMO

I haven't been on this site for two years lol. Also this 3D would be better than the 3DS's as there's no sweet spot meaning no matter how you look at the screen it will be clean n clear 3D. I don't see why anyone would dislike that type of 3D but if they do for whatever reason they can just turn it off.

Why not? No matter the reason, you can just turn the 3D off. It's not required to play the 3DS.

I was told on another thread (to be specific, Glasses Free 3D: Worth the trouble?) that it is possible and has already been done. I forget all the details of it though.

Hmmm, my Vita uses them too!  I always prefer physical media on expensive games.  I will never pay more than $20 for a game that I don't own or can't resell if I chose to.

Stop hating and start playing.
