Finally, someone who shows intellegence. The PS4 will be no different than what is going on with the PS3. If third parties choose to interfere thats their negotiation or funeral with consumers.

I just look at the Vita and hope the ps4 is the same way///

Side note to me it isnt a xbox vs sony thing.. i think this is deeper than console loyalty.. this is gaming our way of life.. its an attack on our way of life but whatever..these companies can do no wrong i guess

They are turning it into a war when it doesnt need to be an Xbox vs Playstation issue. We get that their fans but they need to derail the truth just they favor the console.

^This, Instead of being busy trying to justify the issue because the other company is also doing it. We should be wary about the mandatory DRM implementation. Have we become a generation of gamers, so compliant that we just accept changes that can easily step on our basic consumer rights? Is the sale of the consoles more important to us? The gaming community should stand up to this but it seems like brand loyalty is more important to others.

They dont even get that this is about consumer rights being breached and I wouldnt be surprised if someone sues MS over intrusion on the first sale doctrine via the supreme court in the US. It protects Americans right to first sale and they have hindered it by demanding profit of a second hand sale, which is not a right of theirs. As gamers we all need to stand up for console gamer rights.

MS doesnt get any profit from second hand sales on the xbox one. they have stated that.

Angry joe does seem rather furious with this turn of events.

Alright again ...

"In order for DRM to properly work it needs to have an Internet Connection on a Regular basis and Sony has stated that the PS4 system is not an Always on Device".

if you can't see the Logic in what is said here then you are just looking for ways to attack Sony, not saying they won't have some form of DRM, it will probably be what is being used with online multi-player being restricted if bought used. So in order for Sony to Block Used games With DRM they will need to have the System be always Online or at some point during the day as with the XBone.

basically this.  I expect online passes for online requiring games; but nothing more.

I closed it when the emo scream started. Can someone please summarize who he is and what he says in 24 minutes?

Just gonna take a wild guess...

Something along the lines of, "DRM SUCKS! FUCK MS!"

Probably tells us to get into PC gaming as well even though that's the market with the strictest DRM.

Actually no, watch the video and you will see what he has to say. He actually has your best interest at heart.

Actually yes seems I was exactly right, around 5:30 or so in he not only encourages people to go the PC route but says he will help build gaming PC's for people. PC. The market that started DRM and is more locked down than anything. The PC market is what the Xbone strives to emulate. Yet people should go there. He's crying about only being able to trade in games at "select retailers". So go PC where you can trade in your games at.. no retailers.

It is adorable watching a grown man rage out though. I'll maybe watch the last 18 minutes some other time.

No it's not. Steam in fact allows a lot more freedom than what MS wants to push.

Hes a charismatic guy.

Even my faith in MS is shaky now. E3 better be great.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

they each allow for a different set of freedoms. which is good, people can have a choice.

This is getting worse and worse and worse now

How in the hell can " your friends can come over to your house and play your game library " be a feature of the console? Sorry but that's laughable

This should be reiterated as it is one of the best points in the video.  This is an actual bullet point from Microsoft:
"Share access to your games with everyone inside your home: Your friends and family, your guests and acquaintances get unlimited access to all of your games.  Anyone can play your games on your console—regardless of whether you are logged in or their relationship to you."

Even Mr Puggsly might admit that it is an extremely sad thing that Microsoft has to point this out as a feature of the console.

the more you read that the worse it gets, im sorry but for me thats the most stupidest thing ive read all generation, its not even worth laughing or crying about its just.......i dunno i cant think of a word

off topic, something made me go out and buy lego city undercover in WiiU today. mabey thats something il be doing more often if sony follow similar with their ps4 as Xbox1

What exactly does MS allow with the xbone ? because steam allows offline and dirt cheap games

MS allows up to ten people to play your games, allows you to sell your digital content, allows you to give a digital game to a friend, we dont know prices yet, but MS does do a summer sale and holiday sale too. Each service has its positives and negatives. It also allows for offline play for 24 hours
