Honestly, I have few reasons to go beyond the PS ecosystem this year for gaming. Between the PS3, PS4 and PSV I am mostly covered. The only handful of exceptions are Nintendo related, of course. ;o

Ditto my man. Although I am contemplating a 3DS in my future. Pokemon XY, Bravely Default might prove to much for me to resist :P lol

That's exactly why I'm getting a 3DS man. xD I'll probably pick up older titles like Oot and Fire Emblem as well, but the Vita will be my primary handheld machine. The Wii U won't interest me until Smash Bros. U and Zelda drop.

I expect great things from the PS systems this year, but I do hope in future Sony releases them in a steady stream (and with proper marketing).

Sony said they would be releasing less games (still more than Microsoft) with more emphasis on quality this time around. They will also be focusing on marketing in this coming gen.

I think it was a good idea to release the last of us on ps3. It will make the most money there, and they need that. Plus when the sequel comes out on ps4 people will be forced to buy the ps4.

Well I am still under the impression that this year is a bit overkill for games, many are just destined to fail because of it. NiNoKuni at least did surprisingly well because it came out a lot earlier than everything else(which always crams the holidays). I fear for Beyond and Puppeteer. Its not like they wont be AAA quality, but might very well get overshadowed by new consoles AND huge AAA 3rd Party Games.

I think they will do fine, 77 million consoles. everyone isn't going to  jump to the next gen so quickly.

i wish sony was as committed to psv as they have been to ps3 but all in all sony has been very good to me as a gamer. definitely looking forward to TLoU, ps4, infamous SS, and the witness!

Oh don't get me wrong, Vita is keeping me plenty satisfied at the moment. I think I have bought more games on Vita in 1.5 years than any other platform. Gaucamelee, Soul Sacrifice, Unit 13, ModNation Racers, Disgaea 3, Uncharted:GA, Gravity Rush(love....this....Game), Smart As.., Super Stardust HD, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Little Big Planet Vita, Persona 4 Golden(Greatest JRPG since FFVII), Assassin's Creed:Liberations, Escape Plan, Jacob Jones, Mutant Blob, PSASBR, Jet Set Radio, etc. Will assuredly be picking up Killzone:Mercs which interests me more than Shadow Fall to be quite honest, Muramasa, Rainbow Moon, Ys:Celsta, Little King Story, Rayman Legends, Valhalla Knights, etc. The console has been a godscend to me. I find myself prefering everything on it.

I'll definitely be on it very soon, on my last phase of ME2. All this work and my back log have been killing me.

Did they really? That would be sorta good news. Maybe great titles like Starhawk, PSASBR(and in retrospect could have cooked a bit longer), and LBP Karting, Soul Sacrifice, Gravity Rush, etc would have had a fighting chance with proper marketing.

Yeah, I remember reading an interview with Sony last year and them talking about that.

I know man. I got PLENTY of school for the entire month of June, and my backlog is taller than me now. :/ I want to play over the ME games for a 'perfect' save as well. But my characters in 3 are good to go for a run. Though I have never tried the coop yet. Still have yet to put in the pass for online play.
