$70 is more than fair.

People are forgetting that the average of all good and services are rising at the same rate.
Video Games are right in the middle, some products or services are rising slower, but others will be above the rate (milk for example).

So in theory, those people saying that $70 is too much should only spend their money on things that are below the rate. In reality these people will still continue to buy milk even though it's more expensive.

That's a valid reason, though that's where the state or employer should do something (assuming you still have the same kind of work).
No one can blame the video game industry to demand the same amount of money than ~15 years ago.

That's an ok launch price but i feel the console may be cheaper like £350 at launch. The controller and games prices sound about right though but ain't the Wii U gonna look cheap by comparison

You'll be waiting at least a year or, more likely, 2 after launch to get your ps4 then.
