and the other sites that rated this low? are all site getting paid too?

Yes, hence why I said "Gaming journalism"  , its a good business giving that most gamers nowadays just watch reviews and wait for the next call of duty to release.

You got any proof for your competent claims?

You really think journalists never get paid?

what about Mass Effect 3 ? when it came out, it was game of the years / generation whatever, then after people played it , was a huge backlash

The backlash was due to many things, but not because of the games quality.

Maybe some game journalists get bribed, but cretainly not all of them.

still my goty for last year

Let him be, he probably has never played it

Hipster alert.

I currently play Mass Effect 3, the writing/gameplay/graphics so far are superb. The ending sucks, but that's not really important for GOTY.

No he gave it 5.9 because the combat doesn´t feal really good and the Gameplay aspect of this "game" is the weakest part. You should read the whole review. He makes valid points. And you are in no position to judge because you have not yet played the game.

You just have to switch the 5 and the 9 and this could be written under an Uncharted review.

I can´t believe I am getting into this discussion.

You probably never even have an Uncharted game, and neither have you this one. So where is the point in this argument? Plus comparing this game to Uncharted is hilarious. I mean Why don´t we just compare Twisted Metal with Forza.

I didn't say anything about remember me, I haven't played it and I don't care about it. I was just saying that your comment fit very well under an Uncharted review, that's all. And yes, I have played Uncharted games. Feel free to look up my PSN profile.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

OK I appologize for my harsh reaction

Only because of the ending. That's like 1/20 of the game.
And on top of that has already been fixed with DLC.

http://gotypicks.blogspot.de/

Readers gave it 10 GOTY awards. Were they bought as well ?

i ever thought this game is interesting. and i like that they copied the batman fight system and even expanded it. the only thing i don't like is the climbing. the fuck, once i've finished a part from a mission (from one checkpoint to another) with holding down 3 buttons all the time, never stopped and never changed, but one time for the camera to change, LOL.
climbing was the big trend in videogames since prince of persia became successful, but no game managed to bring some depth into it. i think this should be a malus for all new games who fail at this.

as for all the other things i don't care. and Remember Me seems like a very cool first part of a game. i hope they will bring another part, where the sequences where you can manipulate others memories are more dynamic, with branching story effects and so on.

but i will definitely buy Remember Me, regardless of its reviews. seems like a failing game that doesn't really deserves it, like Enslaved or Driver: San Francisco.
