Forums - PC - Last day for the Alan Wake Steam sale. Jump on it all DLC and the full game for $4. Should I buy it?

The game isn't as scary as it should be, or as action as it could be...but it feels unique amongst the sea of generic 3rd person games we've received this gen.


American Nightmare is included in the four dollar bundle. Yeah, I think I'll pick it up. Sucks that it isnt as scary as it should be.

They really are not going for those "boo" style scares for the most part...which is good. But the game also never gets under your skin like a Silent Hill would. So it kind of sticks in limbo of scaryness lol.

I wasn't sure that I liked it well after I finished it, but then I realized it was an awesome package overall and when American Nightmare came out, I gobbled that up like a hungry kitten.


I am thankful that American Nightmare is one dollar LOL. Thanks man. Its downloading as we speak.

Just bought it for that price. It's the only game that I really wanted to have an xbox for it but I'm glad I can now play it on my pc.

LOL I forgot it existed. My time with the 360 is now complete. LOL I didnt miss a thing when it comes to the best games it had. A good portion of the Xbox Live indy exclusives are on Steam as well. I am going to get that Ninja game later that was on Xbox Live arcade that I never got to buy recently. Thank you Steam.

That's actually the only DLC I didn't get. I got the first one free with the LE that cost me $20 about.... A year ago. Also got avatar items and 2 themes. I should pick up American Nightmare before the X1 takes over everything!

Yeah, its only one dollar on Steam. It will probably costs ten to twelve bucks on Xbox Live. I saw some reviews and everyones saying its worth it.
