No I didn't. My floormate has one. I played his PS3, he played my Wii/360.

Uncharted 2 was awesome. Never learned to like the controller though.

At this stage, I'm not going near XB1 with a ten foot pole unless Microsoft change their anti-consumer policies. PS4 doesn't look very interesting to me so far, maybe that will change at E3.

In this gen:

PS3, X360.

Online is not an option in my current situation. And I'm not going to pay 70 euros per game to play broken, unpatched games with locked content.

Current personal economical situation.

Third parties shifting focus towards genres I'm not interested.

Not interested in Sony's or Microsoft's first party games.

Both have controllers with bad d-pads. One of the reasons to get one would be to play fighting games so this is a big deal. I know I can buy a third party controller, but that means spending more $$$ and I've said already that money is an issue.

I think you should get a PS4. Sony supports there platforms well especially for the hardcore. Unlike MS which bring out smae Halo/Gears/Forza/Fable/Kinect things every year. Also you'll have free online with the PSN.

The controller does look more to my liking with its more curved shape and touchpad, but the few games we've seen so far haven't interested me.

Yes, and his opinion is very narrow. Much like me saying...., "pshh I eat at McDonalds and only McDonalds. I refuse to buy any other fast food restaurant. Screw that new restaurant down the street because McD's obviously has the best burgers and everything I need."

Sure it may be an opinion, but when it comes down to it's pure fanboyism. Me criticizing someone for being that narrow comes down as fanboyish? (even after i've shown a history of a love for nintendo just a few posts above his) I'm pointing out the obvious. It's like an American spouting out bullshit about being the best country.  His post reminds me of a redneck going "Murica!". Now before you claim I'm anti US, I' am in the US Air Force. Do I love my country? Yes, but do I criticize us and realize that some countries do other things better? Yes! That's exactly my point im trying to make with consoles. You need to open up and try other things and not just shut yourself in to one little platform and claim it has all the bells and whistles you need without even keeping yourself open to the possibility of other things which he clearly demonstrated he's not willing to do. 

His blatant generlization of third party games is laughable as well. "Well it's third party....i don't like third party so I'm not gonna play it." 

I guess that means we can throw out capcom. No more monster hunter tri. Also means we can throw out anything from Ubisoft or Rockstar. Bioshock? Naaaah don't need it, because from what he's telling me third party games must pretty much not be worth it.

I'm saying it here and now, if you're a close minded individual no matter what console you're supporting I will mock you. If he had given a reason other than I just don't buy nintendo and the other systems games don't hold a candle than it would have made his opinion a bit more valid and reasonable. Instead it pretty much just comes off as ignorant.

I can't be sure but I doubt you would have responded the same way if he had said he only buys Playstation products. Because there's a lot of them on this site.

This just seems like another attack on a Nintendo fan to me. Like he is stupid for chosing to buy only one console whereas someone who only has a playstation or an XBox is considered normal.

I own various platforms (playing PC games, 360, WiiU and 3DS atm) and I don't consider him to be narrow minded. Is he missing out on other great games? I think so but he obviously does not. Whether that's because he's never experienced those games or has experienced them but feels they haven't impressed him enough to go and buy another platform is something we don't know. Therefor I won't judge him on it. If he had said he is never going to touch anything other than a Nintendo product because Nintendo is the be all and end all company then I would agree with you.

I only got a 360 and a PC this gen. Got the 360 as a christmas gift back in 05 and then ive gotten several new ones for different things. BTW my old 05 xbox 360 is STILL working. No RROD or anything. But i used to play halo ALOT and so that for me was a reason to get a 360.

To be honest i dont really do much console gaming anymore. I dont care much for single player games. Cant even bring myself to finish Halo 4 or Gears of war 3. I only play online games and since i dont really like console controls (they are clunky and unresponsive) so i have no reason to ever buy a PS3.

The wii.. well once again i dont like single player games and im not really a fan of Party style games. All my friends and I will all bring our PCs over and play some league of legends. Thats my idea of a good time as far as video games are concerned.

So from here on out I will most likely strictly be a PC gamer. Cheap games, better graphics/controls and it fulfills alot of purposes.

My future purchase is leaning towards a PS4/Wii U combo because they have a higher chances of getting JRPGs in the future. Unless MS do a 360 with the X1 at launch (with a bunch of JRPGs). Then I will have serious money saving to do. lol!

This is the one thing I can say I'm uncertain about really. Is there actually a ps3 over there or not. If there is ones i have a picture in my head of him hissing at it everytime he walks by one.

This is such a long argument for such a small post that was clearly full of bias....my care-o-meter has officially dropped 

EDIT: Sigh....with all this said and done, I have nothing against NintendoPie either I just feel it's a narrow way of thinking.
