I'd rather them admit that we are fascist considering we are pretty much controlled by corporations and politicians listen to corporations over the general public.

I like it more centered. US benefited so much from socialism but it never got recognized. Social security, unions, social programs that helped the middle class in US become hegemonic in the 20th century.

The power is so centered on the selected few that the rest of America look like tihs. Bankers and Wall Street crooks have more immunity than diplomats.

And people are more interested in trivial matters like social welfare when corporate welfare is infinitely more costly to taxpayers than social.

You sir are stupid!!!! The points you made about the poor just dont make sense, you think the rich are out of control but the gap would only be worse with no way to get out because all good ideas the poor has will be owned by the government and copied by the rich so the poor stays poor!!! And religion good luck with that, one will rule and you'll have no choice! The only thing wrong with the usa is lazy people who are to spoiled to appreciate the freedoms they do have, they elect idiots to take freedoms away and take care of them and give them stuff. There will always be fights about guns, debts and so on with those who are responsible and appreciate freedom and those who want to be hooked up to the matrix!!!!

Sure, America would have done way better as a communist country. But you know what would be even better. If it remained a colony. But not just under British rule. More like Europe 2.0. That would double Europes Economic might and dwarf Chinas Economy. It would be 1/6th the size.

No, Communism never really works out. China is slowly turning away from communism, and that's why they are on the rise. I think we need some reform. America worked so well back in the day because of compromise between the two parties, but now the Republican party won't meet any sort of middle ground, and it leads to nothing getting done/a stagnant nation.

But that flag is sick! :D

Communism means you're not free. I'll hang on to my freedom and my meager wages, thank you.

Thats a dumb idea its because of the freedom they had that the west became the birth place for amazing new ideas and the usa grew! The world experienced a revolution and exploded in decades rather than hundreds or thousands of years without the presents of a king to hold them back many inventions were made that would not be possible with the restriction of big brother government!!!!

Communism is the bad branch of socialism and doesn't work when you have a greedy ass gov't that doesn't care for their people (See Soviet Union, Cuba, North Korea, and China). Socialism also branches into many types where communism is one. There is also social democracy (see Denmark, Sweden, Norway, The Netherlands, and Germany) this is where socialism puts the power in the hands of its citizens vs. communism where its pure gov't control. It works but when schools and media brainwash you into thinking communism is the only socialism in the world everyone gets scared. Just look at Socialist Democratic countries and how they are prospering and you can see that it could work when you have people willing to put in the effort of innovating and raising standards.
