Review roundup http://www.bluesnews.com/s/142107/nvidia-geforce-gtx-770-announced

2GB VRAM may cause some issues at higher resolutions going forward tho, with multiplatform next gen games. Tho probably not for a few years.

Not likely. There are many games that already need 2GB of VRAM or more for their maximum vanilla settings. Bioshock Infinite being one of the recent ones.

In Bioshock: Infinite's case actually more of a bug than anything the game has bad memory management, it's why the game has stuttering issues. But yes there are some edge cases where more than 2GB is required for ultra settings already, and that will become much more common over the next couple years. But honestly you can usually drop one or two things down a notch and be fine.

If you really want to max everything then yes you are going to want more VRAM and also a more powerful GPU than the 770 anyway.

Rendering/Threading, mostly. My game has picked up speed in the development area.

Do you have any YouTube videos showing anything of your game yet?

I can't say I am hugely impressed, it seems to have dropped further back from the 80 than with the 600 series

My 670 is overclocked by ASUS such that it basically delivers 680 performance, I don't think we are going to see the same thing here

But personally, I second 670 is more likely than a 700 series if I need more power

My only problem with the 770 is its power consumption. It's 30W more than the 680,

I was expecting it to be the same or a bit lower. Oh, well. At least it's not overpriced like the 780.

Please excuse my bad English.

Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

I find the lack of GTX 690 .....disturbing (other than that first chart.)

CURRENTLY PLAYING:  Warframe, Witcher 2

Looks like a pretty sweet deal for those who didn't jump on the GTX 600/HD 7000 cards. Can't wait to see what the 760 and 750 bring to the table.

This car is just a rebranded GTX 680. GK104 based and not GK110 based like the Titan and 780. They added 1000 more mhz on the RAM and gave it the same auto overclocking features as the Titan and

So I'm pretty sure that the 760 Ti and 750 Ti will be a rebranded 670 and 660 with similar adjustments lol

So I've heard. But still... :p

Have some time to kill? Read my shitty games blog. http://www.pixlbit.com/blogs/586/gigantor21
