Incredible, I didn't think Nintendo would ship that many, great news. SSBB may do 1 million or more if Nintendo can ship enough.

Yeah I listened to all the 300-400K and got burned, should have gone with my gut.

Also for one week at least Wii fit will not be in the top two it looks like

Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

Impresive....it have big chance to beat Halo 3 in sales.

I think it takes a lot of core gamers to sell 500k in one day man. Casuals arent following the release dates of gaming that closely to push those types of numbers.

 

Casual titles can be Identified by their long legs. Like Brain Training, 4 million sold, but it did SMALL numbers on its first week. But its a slow burn. When a game put up epic numbers like Smash just did day 1. There are hardcore gamers behind that man. You can count on it.

SSBB might not be the game to beat DQ7 in Japan but keep an eye on Wii Sports and Wii Fit

SSBB looks like it will outsell SMG lifetime sales in Japan in it's 1st week! Amazing!!!!
