best music in a commercial ever.... now I wan´t to see fear and loathing again...

This game is great I finished the first disc this afternoon (in 11 hours).

Overall impression:
+ Never experienced frame drops till now.
+ Art style is great!
+ The story is touching en very good!
+ The humor of Jenson is very good!
+ Music is very good!
+ The game has some excellent dialogue

- Too much use of scene in scene cutscenes

I'm still iffy about this game. I was gonna get it but I still haven't finished Eternal Sonata and I haven't really touched Blue Dragon. I have COD4 to blame!

Blarg. I hope I can get to it.

Like you Godbless, I'm still working on Mass Effect (2nd playthrough), Eternal Sonata (almost done w/ Mysterious Union) and Blue Dragon (end of 2nd disk).

Can you keep this thread updated with your progress and your thoughts on the game? Im very interested in someone giving an honest opinion on the game's quality. Have you not had ANY framerate issues? Because some sites claimed that was a major issue in the Japanese Edition.

Damn, you already finished the first disc thibje? I thought I was playing the game a lot since I got it early last week. I think I'm pretty close to the end of disc 1 (I've played about 10hrs so far).

I'm really enjoying the game thus far. There are occasional frame drops (but I am playing the JP version), but otherwise it's an excellent game. The story is really interesting, and quite moving. I love the soundtrack so far and now I'm thinking about purchasing the soundtrack cd, hehe.
Sometimes you can go awhile without actual battles, like at very beginning and also when I was in Numara, but there is a lot to explore in the game!
