I play Uncharted for the story and for the characters. And the gameplay, I really DON'T want them to change it. If they do, there would be a lot of shitstom and possibly get panned for moving away from the franchises established formula. If it ain't broke........

Knowing Naughty Dog, I highly doubt your fears are founded. They tend to change something dramatically in each game. They said the PS3 cannot handle what they have planned for the next Uncharted. This is reassuring news that they will revamp the gameplay and the worlds we're in. Uncharted was never set up to be a trilogy, so the story has plenty of installments left in its tank and the next Uncharted will have more than a two year cycle to be developed which is awesome to say the least. Any Naughty Dog game with above a two year cycle has got to be something special if their two year cycle games score the way they do. They wont have to waste as much time on graphics and evasive measures as they had to with the PS3, so now they can focus more on gameplay.
