But what if they decided to work on The Very Last of Us and some other IP that's somehow better than both Uncharted and TLOU? Wouldn't that be worth it?

I play Uncharted for the story and for the characters. And the gameplay, I really DON'T want them to change it. If they do, there would be a lot of shitstom and possibly get panned for moving away from the franchises established formula. If it ain't broke........
