Nintendo has always leaded the industry in that regard but people has never cared, so most people should vote no.
I care, specially about the size and noise. Maybe Ninty has set such a hih standard on me that im a bit too nitpicking in that aspect ;)

The design is important for me of course, but I'm a gamer first and foremost and it's not like a have a choice. If Microsoft would come up with more models of xbone I would probably choose another one, because the current one is indeed ugly for my taste.

From the look of the PS4 teaser, it may not be much better, which is a bummer but I'm not skipping its games because of it, that would be ridiculous.

The PS2 was fugly as hell, didn't stop me owning one.

Not showing your hardware is a big deal apparently but in the end it doesn't make a difference in whether people purchase it.

Personally i like the new Xbox design and do not expect a lot difference from Sony.

Not very important. To me size is more important, and even size isn't very important.

While it is nice for a console to look great alongside the rest of your entertainment, ultimately I'm not picky about a console's appearance. With that said, I would love to see the return of gray/silver/white consoles.

it's nice to have a nicely designed console but in the end that is not the deciding factor for me to buy a console it is the games and will always be the games it plays that will make me buy it

My indigo Gamecube being my favorite console of all time is testament to how much I care about what the system looks like.

its ugly, but it really doesnt matter one bit. i wont be looking at it when i play or watch tv (if i owned one) it really doesnt matter one bit. if i were to chose between a simple thing as beautiful design or ugly design but quiet i would chose the ugly design but quiet

The GC is my favorite console of all time, so no I don't care about the design.
