coul somebod explain to me how mmorpgs work? ive never played one but im interested, does everybody play on the same map and can see and talk to each other when close?

Think of it like a single player game but with people from around the world. You can team up to do content, chat, and have fun. You're all in the same world.

and yes the lowest sub fee is $12.99 per month, unless you're a Legacy player.

So basically what your saying is, if you and I were playing the game at the same time even though I didn't enter the game with you, I'd still see you on my game if we were in the same area? And then team up?

It has story missions similar to offline Final Fantasys however it's not an offline only game with a storyline mode though.
