It was obvious that the show wasn't real time when channels were changing so fast. Just because you connect a cable box to a XBox One doesn't magically make the hardware in the cable box better. Anyone who uses a cable box knows full well that it cannot change channels that quickly.

Also if you watchted the event you can see a segment where the presenter uses hand gestures to stretch to full screen and the screen shrinks again without him doing anything, causing him to attempt to play catchup to cover up his error.

History tells us that MS conferences are all staged and you cannot really take anything at face value.

May I remember render-targets? :) No, really, it is way more safe to show what it can do but given the big audience and the possibility of many sounds disturbing the voice-recognition I'd do the same. You *never* know what's real on presentations of tech until you can try it yourself so both console-reveals can be fake or not.

Why are you acting so insecure? He didn't mention Sony at all. We're talking about MS here. They're the ones who were cought faking. Not that it's such a bit deal, because of the nature of such events.

If Sony had messed up, people would have complained and made silly videos about it just the same. In fact, they did. Because Sony didn't show the console at its reveal event. -__-

But that's still irrelevent to the topic here.

Because, if you had followed my previous posts, they also cheated on presentations before, so we can never be sure that *anything* we see is real until other than officials tell us so. Adding additional information can sometimes widen someone's horizon or do you doubt that?

And especially you are not the one who decides what "we" discuss here.

I already thought this while I was watching the event.

So since they cheated, that makes all cheaters ok?

And I'm not deciding anything. Your comment has the potential to derail the topic. A topic that isn't comparing MS to Sony.

I could have just been a fake cable chanel. I was fairly sure that none of those shows were actually on live, it was just a demonstation. I am willing to believe that the One really does work like that

Having said that, what I really want to see is a man (or woman) with a controller playing a game on stage

The fact that it is just an overlay and not a cable box replacement, how could it enable you to change channels faster than the hardware in your cable box would actually allow?

It's not a cable box, it is a video feed of some sort

I think this is what we can expect from E3 for both Sony and MS. No pc-hardware which is similar to console-tech, no fake-demos, hands-on gaming on the final hardware.

It doesn't matter if it is a PC, I am fine so long as there is a man with a controller

I would love it if Microsoft or Sony literally got out their console, turned it on and then inserted a disc and started playing to show us it is all real

I won't derail the topic, I am telling that you can't blame only MS while others did the same. I always added something to my replies to give people I am talking to more of the whole picture.

Cheating is of course bad and I also said that every time when a company did it. But, as I said in the thread, at a reveal you have to show something. We don't know if everything Sony showed us was real and we don't know if MS was all real.

Exactly, and that is what E3 will most probably (and hopefully!) show us! Finally, we waited so long for this.

It could've been a device to tell the xbone to listen... because with all the xbone talk it could've ended up like for the people at home, it just doing random stuff

Sort of a on mic/off mic switch device? A good a possibility. Good thinking.

I'm not even sure why this is a big deal. Kinect 1.0 worked like that last gen, Kinect 2.0 surely will. Not to mention the console responded in real time... It was live footage. Vgchartz over-reacting again.

Hi everyone. Good t be here.

I have seen some pretty bad fanboyism the past 5 months. since Sony reveal. Really bad showing from many ( proclaimed ) gamers. This is nothing but more propaganda. hat if his nerves gave him that reaction everytime he was gong to use Kinect?

He may well be doing what is claimed. But its important to note there is NO proof. Where was he clicker whe he is clearly using his voice with both his hads ouside his trousers? What about when he is using 2 hands to demonstrate?

For me to many people are looking for things from either side to try an poke fun. SAD!

How I saw both Reveals.

Sony:

Operatng system sounds better than PS3. Share button is nice. Would like to see if it has multitasking or instant switching.

No console shown. No biggy, but would have been cool. Need more info on its multimedia functions. So far not that impressive.

The games shown were all pretty average except Watchdogs. Wasnt impressed to hear Infamous ( dont like the franchise ) is in develpment and Killzone ( yawn, thouht 2 an 3 are average shooters that are pretty ) took center stage. New driving game sounds nice. But in terms of games there wasnt alot of promise. I get the feeling PS4's first year. Hopefull ony show alot more promise at E3.

Worried about third party support ( mainly exclusives ) and the controller also worries me.

Nice specs.

Microsoft.

Operating system updated. Love that Windows 8 apps can be ported due to Windows 8 Kernel in Xbox One. Mulimedia functions look far head of competition. Huge amount of servers for Live. Multitasking very impressive.

Fee for used games sucks. Bu inevitable. Anyone who uses Steam had to get used to this no trading games. Just sooner than Id like.

Games show promise. Good to hear Microsoft backing exclusives. Even though we have to really wait till E3.
oved he look of Quantum Break. Forza 5 obviously arguably the biggest release title EVER. Microsoft Studios are Publishing 15 Exclusives in he first 12 months. 8 are new IP's. akes me very happy asan avid gamer.

Personally although Microsoft showed less game footage, I am more excited about Xbox One exclusive games tha Sony's. Sony didnt seem interested in much outside Infamous and Killone. 2 of the worst exclusives Ive played inrecent years. Much rather Ratchet And Clank or God Of War.

ALso it appears third party are stcking closer o Microsoft. whether thats moneyhatting or not who knows. But EA, Activision are already in bed with Microsoft. Whos next???????????

First of all i welcome u with a slow clap of fanboyism... its sad that u are not interested in sony franchises but very much interested in Xbox franchise.. That does make u sound neutral..

what did u love about Forza.. and what did u learn about quantum break that u already like.. and which part of third party exclusive deals u like "Some Elements of FIFA ultimate team and sports games that EA themselves confirmed were Pre-rendered! Oh and ur excited about unknown 15 exclusive titles just coz MS said and MS has so many new studio to back up that claim... So in that sense Xbone will have exlusive each month for the next year.. huh! looking forward to that.

Sony has 15 FP studios almost all of them has two right now and working on a PS4 games. Not to mention more 15 second party studios.. roughly 45 games so if we include vita and PS3 in that there would b almost 30 PS4 exclusive in development.. its just that sony didnt announce it.

lets talk about third party deal. who has upper hand Activision in bed with MS.. so can someone please tell MS that they are cheating on them, Activision brought Xbox biggest developer who made what xbox brand today on to PS4 "bungie" and announced exclusive content for PS4. then there is Blizard.. Oh the beautiful relationship with Ubisoft.. Exclusive content for Watch dog and AC4.

But all these have been discussed all over the internet.. in past few days... oh and i havent said anything about DRM and Online connectivity.. Good luck with ur Forever alone console

Xbox Go Home! Ur drunk

lot of what you say is speculation. Sony havent announced anything so why should I assume that there is any more than 5 titles being made?

Based on what  Both companies said and announced, Sony has more to prove on the games front than Microsoft from an announcemnt point of view. Currently Mirosoft has confirmed more gaming wise.

We know Forza 5 arguaeably the best launch title ever is available day 1. We know ryse and Quantum Break are story driven experiences and mor surprising that Ryse uses the traditiona controller with Kinect enhancements. Being by Crytek this game will arguably be th best looking game in the first 12 months of the PS4 and One considering Crytek track record with visuals.

ALl this Kinect talk from sad fanboys is pathetic. 3 Exclusives revealed by Micrsoft and all 3 use traditional controller and are what is considred AAA and for the core gamer. And 1 new IP already.

Seems Microsoft are putting core gamers in the firing line.

Until Sony say or announce coe games worth my time then I may get excited about PS4 game lineup. ut ther conference said to me shootes and poor openworld game.
