I'm REALLY considering this as of late. I hear nothing but good things about Steam.

Your post was offensive to me and since you are a Nintendo fan, I won't buy the Wii U.

So you can blame yourself for Nintendo losing out on money from a potential customer.

Actually, I think he's not getting a PS4 because PS fanboys disgust him, and he doesn't want to be associated with their kind by buying into the Playstation brand.

I'm sticking to my Sony (PS4, PSV) primary, Nintendo (3DS) secondary strategy.

I am a Sony fan till the end and there are a ton of games I want for the 3DS so I know i'm purchasing one later down the road. The Wii U seems weak and I am not a fan of tablets so unless they release some blockbuster, AAA, must-haves, I am not even looking it its direction. As for the Xbox One, I am no giving MS anything on xbox-related content with their used fee, kinect forcing, mandatory connection checking bullshit.

Just out of curiosity, what did the PS3 do that left you sore?

It's pretty illogical, but I can understand where he's coming from. The PS fandom can be a particularly nasty bunch, at times. Especially towards Wii fans last gen.

Present company entirely excluded, ofcourse. ;)

If it's any consolation, people who post on these sites only account for MUCH less than 1 percent of what the installed base of a console is. What we all hope for and against doesn't matter in actuality.

I was the biggest PS fan since PS1 days, heck I own almose 600 games from the PS family. I was one of the first person to pre-order a PS3 and purchased it day 1, 3rd person in line over 100 people in line.  I lay down over $900 for it was dissapointed what it have to offer in the first year. Why pay for the premium price when the 360 had better performing multi-play games and Sony 1st party games at the time was a joke compare to the 360. After 9 months I got fed up and purchase the 360 and really never look back. Biggest dissapointment in my gaming life, you expect a system that cost almost double your competitor will provide more quality or equal to.

it doesnt make any sense at all. because of a bunch of vocal fanboys on the internet he isnt buying a console that he could enjoy a lot. and yes there are some PS fans on the internet who are complete jerks. but u can find that with nintendo fans, ms fans, apple fans. and atari fans as well. basicaly any fraction or any company will have fans that are jerks. 

i would be a single console owner too if nintendo got all 3rd party support, but they probably wont. So my next gen gaming hardware will probably be Wii U, ps4 and 3ds. really not digging the xbone
