Smart move, if true. Weird, too. Exclusive -> multi-plat -> exclusive. I guess they weren't interested about exclusivity in the middle of last generation but became interested with a new console to launch.

Now, what's all this about Smartglass mandatory? I still don't really know what Smartglass is yet. Other than you couldn't watch the XboxOne reveal through it.

Smartglass apparently required for "Core features" on every Xbone launch title.
